The. Picture cannot convey the turbulence we have been through last night and today. Last night the captain announced that between 11 last night and 4pm this afternoon we could expect very rough weather and waves up to 6 meters and he was dead on. 6 meters is about 20 feet! When that happens they close down come of the elevators, close down all the outside decks and you are on your own for activities. We stayed in this morning but ventured out for a little lunch, trivia, my bridge game. The bridge game was interesting because you are on the 10th floor forward so the action of the waves gets very exaggerated! I almost felt some sea-sickness then. About 4:10 the swells subsided and now we are just in a normal high seas condition. Things on the walls are still not right but I'm waiting until we dock to fix that.
We had a lovely entertainment this evening.
Tomorrow morning we arrive in Hobart, Tasmania, and it will be interesting to see if we can walk properly. Azamazing Evening tomorrow night with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Sounds fun.
Stay tuned.
