SUPERBOWL SHIP STYLE
Here's how you watch the Super Bowl on Azamara. We saw the game live on the big screen and they provided sliders, burgers, wings, macncheese, pizza, desserts, bottle beer - it was incredible! You could see it in your room also if you wanted. No ads unfortunately but the outcome was terrific for us Chiefs fans.
Seas were a little rough yesterday but very calm today. If I haven't mentioned it before the Pacific is really, really blue.
This is the last of our long string of sea days as we arrive at Bay of Islands , NZ, tomorrow. Then it will be 6 straight days of New Zealand sights and adventures. We've met quite a few Kiwis and Aussies aboard. Nicest people ever and eager to share what sights we need to see.
Lots and lots of the passengers we've met have sailed with Azamara multiple times. As many as in the teens for some of them. And we can see why - everyone on the ship, officers included, are friendly, fun and really seem to want to make this enjoyable. So far they're succeeding beautifully! One couple we met cruise a lot because she does not like to cook, shop, do laundry or clean!
Sea days are very busy, or not. It's up to you. Because of my skin I still have not used the pool but will before the end I'm sure. But there is trivia, art classes, bridge, lectures, excercise classes of all kinds, a library - if you're bored it's your own fault!
Tomorrow I will bring you New Zealand! I am so excited!
